New Renault Twingo for the City

Renault has decided to launch its small and funky little car Twingo in five-door avatar instead of three in its next iteration. This, as Renault claims, will make the car more practical and hence more attractive for larger audience domain. The car is to be a RWD model with rear-mounted engine for more practicality.
Twingo have always been an affordable and good-looking compact car that is perfect for short city commutes. The short dimensions and ease of maneuverability have made Twingo a successful urban car, especially for female drivers.
The car is likely to follow the same modernistic and anomalous design theme as the outgoing three-door model. Expect a styled-on-budget interiors with funky little touches to address the new model. Renault is also planning to offer extensive personalization options to further enhance the appeal of the car in ever so competitive market. Now, Renault will also have to concentrate on the male buyers, as the three-door option was the only bait earlier.
Twingo will be a cheap car to run with responsive and efficient engines. However, the car is suitable only for urban commutes and taking one on the highway is not the best of the things to do. New practical approach and Renault’s clever fixed price servicing should make this new Twingo a car worth considering for city dwellers.

Mercedes CLA 45 AMG Edition 1 unveiled

The much-awaited Mercedes Benz CLA 45 AMG gets more tempting with the ultra exclusive Edition 1 package that takes the phrase art-on-wheels quite seriously. Exterior holds the special edition 19” AMG alloy wheels with gorgeous multi-spoke design and super evil matte black paint. Side profile carries the ‘AMG sport’ stripes in classy graphite gray atop muscular side skirts.
The ORVM and front grille gets a unique red-foiled –accent which shouts that the CLA45 AMG means serious business. With the ‘Edition 1’, the devil is surely in the details as the wheel centre hub is crafted beautifully in red and black lens and it incorporates a chrome bathed three-pointed star insignia. Further, the gloss black rear spoiler and chrome tailpipes conclude the visual show.
The car is marked Edition 1 on the centre console along with the usual AMG badgings. The upholstery is in black and red ARTICO/ DINAMICA microfiber with red contrast sewing. Door panels and instrument panel follows the same contrast stitching ritual that makes the cabin bespoke. Steering wheel gets the traditional Alcantara treatment.
Recently we found that along with many new launches Mercedes-Benz is feeding a Porsche 911 challenger in the form of SLC AMG and now with this versatile and seductive package it seems that even after 125 innovative years the German star is still shining!
